This chapter of The Climate Reality Project includes Binghamton, Syracuse, Ithaca, Elmira, Corning, Rochester, and areas in between. Their mission is to educate and mobilize all who reside in the region to take urgent climate action across every level of society, while ensuring that all individuals feel respected and included. Their purview includes climate mitigation, community adaptation and sustainable/regenerative development in response to the climate emergency.

No Mas Lagrimas is an organization supporting individuals and families of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities affected by economic and social barriers in meeting their basic needs and in empowering themselves to achieve their aspirations. Their work includes food rescue and distribution, community celebrations, youth programs, food delivery and assistance with basic needs, support for domestic violence victims, and advocacy on behalf of and support for recently incarcerated individuals and other underserved people.
